MadHatter:
That's the spirit! Is the green stuff still fresh? Here's a few tips to make it pop:
In case of fresh putty, attack the edges of the hairy horn bases up on the head, because right now it looks a bit like a piece of headgear with that neat edge. You could also smooth out the edges of the rune's putty (you might already have done so, it's tricky to see on pictures) and perhaps try to get a little more sharpness into the rune's edges? The putty is bulging in some areas.
Also, there seems to be a notch into the left horn's putty. Fill it, and the horn will look better. Perhaps you might want to fill the edge of the green stuff on the horn as well, and get a smoother transition. Smoothing green stuff is one of the things I struggle with, but the trick seems to be having a little water on the sculpting tool, and press the green stuff thin "into" the areas around it. The outline of the smoothed green stuff should often be thin enough to hint at transparency.
Another trick is to "brush" some super glue around the border to be smoothed with a piece of newspaper. This might have to be repeated a few times, but the super glue will often be enough to smooth things out by filling out sharp edges. Only do this at dried green stuff. The same method can be used to get a smoother surface anywhere on a sculpt, since the glue fills up crevices. It's tricky and requires care to handle, but it's the lazyman's way past all that smoothing! ;)
Anyway, it's looking good, keep it up! :)

It's all dry, I did smoothen the edges with superglue though! I'm basing it now but there will be alot of work on this piece until it's ready... Thanks for the great advice, used most of them, even tried to rough the hair up with a knife but it's to hard a surface now...
Gave them teeth the first layer of white :)
Yodrin:
Niiiice!! On the last pic it looks huge. How’s the size towards the FW Bale Taurus body?
Admiral:
Nice indeed! Good job with smoothing, from this angle. The hair’s edges also looks better. I hope you excuse me if I continue to play advisor:
How about painting the teeth from a brown or yellow-brown colour as base coat, highlighting your way up through beige to pure white? They’ll probably look more natural that way, and you won’t have to apply three or more layers of white just to get a solid covering.
Are the eyes finished yet? If they are, you might want to make the puils slightly larger, and make the white dots a bit smaller and more upwards in the pupils rather than in the centre. Like in this tutorial up to and including step five. With eyes that big you’ll also have plenty of opportunity for highlighting and adding fine red or purple veins at their edges, should you wish.
If you’re to have another detail round with green stuff on the Destroyer, then how about adding one or three bulging scars (like this one) somewhere on the bull, possibly three in a row to simulate old claw wounds? Or maybe ritual scarring like runes of some sort, FW CD or Chaos tounge perhaps. Or symbols like those seen on the Sorcerer-Prophet’s staff on the old temple painting?
If you would do such a thing, it might be best to keep the scars quite small to not disturb the overall impression of the miniature.
Just tossing ideas at you in case something is of use. :cheers

I don't own any FW models to compare with however the tip of the outmost point of the feet are 145mm and the width between them is 80mm. Here's some comparision with what I have!

It’s freaking massive! I’m surprised how good it looks for a porcelain figure. Good detail upgrades for it.

I'm very happy for all the advice, every model I have so far is yet only basecoated with the colors at the right place at best!

Very good advice, thanks! I'll definately use this technique :cheers

Just based so far, the thing is that the eyes are hollowed out where the white is however that could be sealed... That tutorial looks great, far above my skill and worn out brushes but I just might try that out, like you say it's a really big model and if one learns the technique it'll most likely pay off along the way!

Really good stuff, I'd like some thing to give perspective on how absurdly large the bull is, like you say I'll be careful though not to clutter it or make to big things... I'll have to order some more greenstuff however haha, what's left is much needed for the artisan entry!

Always very appretiated and much needed, I'll have the hobgoblins bring you some slaves in tribute to the wisdom hidden beneath that tall hat of yours :hat off

I wish I had taken some proper before pictures of it before the paint came on, I think it will go quite well with the rest of the host! I've been thinking about some armour matching my BC's on the sides but I'm afraid to ruin or overdo it now, especially since I'm just improvising!
EDIT: I fixed the horns like you said btw, looks alot better now!
torn:
That bull is cool and crazy at the same time. Love the theme your going with.
Yodrin:
Thats a massive one, with a huge head, it rocks!!! Great work!!!

Nice. I think armour could work, but it's also a safe bet to let the bull run naked. Roll a D6... :)
MadHatter:
No real progress on the painting and modelling because of the battles and battlereports (check 'em out!) however I wanted to show off my CD collection enthroned in their new display cabinet
…eventually the marauder giant will have to move away in favour of the Great Taurus box
Fuggit Khan:
Lovely display case you have there…the vintage metal classics getting the homage they deserve :cheers
Abecedar:
Great display. But you will have to make another one for the next gear you acquire
MadHatter:
Thanks alot guys, actually it’s a double cabinet so there’s alot of more space
We’ve been busy 'ere, check out our new gamingtable! http://www.chaos-dwarfs.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=14580&pid=239066#pid239066

Both table and cabinet look nice. Keep at it!
Admiral:
Wow, they look great! If/when I get round to make a set of small details like bulls heads you might want to cover up the crosses on the tank. However, you could also switch the base for a a Chariot one later on. It’s not necessary, although it’s closer to the size of your model and the FW ID. But it’ll make it easier for you during games when charging opponents’ units.

Thanks alot friend, glad you liked them. There will eventually be an old great taurus head in the front and 2 cannons pointing awkwardly out from the surrounding 2 segments, I'll likely just cover the empire crosses with greenstuff and make it like metal plates, later on however if access to such bull heads or stuff then I'll add them :) I'll keep my bases, it's for friendly games and I guess I'm the one at a loss here anyways :cheers
Bloodbeard:
That is awesome! There’s a slave caravan headed your way. Because making conversions in metal is hard.
That insane prophet is gonna be used as a guy with flying caret right? He’ll never fit into a regular unit. It would be easy though to take a plastic rod from a flying base, drill a small hole underneath him, fit it to a 20 mm base.
That that you could when needed, put him on a base and have him levitated over a unit. That would look cool and add some life to a unit. The miniature deserves to be more often than with the rare flying carpet.
I have extra flying bases, will send you some for free if needed.
The ID is looking good. Agree with Admiral, try to get the crosses of. Add skulls, bulls, hashut runes or lightning bolts instead. One of the old goblin shields has a ligtning bolt on it.
The Iron Demon altso goes on 60*100 base according to Forge World. Easy enpugh to make by cutting up some old bases.

Beautiful, simply beautiful
