I am aware that CheTralfara did here. they look alright, but i guess it depends on which head you use.

I have done it with Plaguemonks. Works really well. I've even written up an article for how to do it.
It might feature in a future WoH. Apparently the current in production issue was full.

So if you're not in a hurry there are actually instructions on how to do it easily/best. Well, according to me anyway.

I am currently building a mixed unit of skaven slaves that’s about 40% hobgoblins, 40% slaves and 20% dwarf/goblin/humans, with a skaven slaver and a hobgoblin slaver.

I’ll put the models for whichever army they are for at the front, with the right slaver.

The bases don’t mix well at all though, and they will be worse once I rebase my CD army.

It might be worth it to wait for the new starter set if you want to make hobgoblins from skaven and the weapon teams might make good conversion for death rockets and the like.

Thats true,, but depending on how the miniatures came, could be a solid 1 piece miniatures very difficult to work on it,,,

They will almost definitely be single part or 2 part pieces. Even regular Skaven warriors hardly merit the epitaph multi-part kit in the common sense.

Oh and I recommend using WH40k Orks Gretchin heads. Absolutely perfectly sized. I bought a couple of boxes, but I also play Orks in 40k. A bitz order should provide all the heads you need.

I seem to have forgotten to mention though that I did make mine Sneaky Gitz. With the robes it worked really well.
