So i havent logged on in what is possibly a bajillion years.
Why?
No particular reason other than life has gotten in the way of toys…
Car accident, lost 60 kilos, new job where i literally traverse this ridiculously large country 4 times a month, bought a farm, got my old chevy back on the road again (unrelated to the afore-mentioned car accident)… all terribly exciting grown up things!
Nice to see what all you lovely people have been up to and some awesome toys in the galleries
So i thought i’d put this post up and show off what i’ve been up to
So the farm…
300 odd acres of ironbark and cypress, rabbits, foxes and not much else
The old chev getting ready for a big day out…
And what about toys i hear you ask?
Lately ive been neglecting my long suffering orcsies and finally getting around to painting the 250 odd necromunda models.
Photos arent awesome, but i’m a long way from home at the moment hehe so all you get are phone photos…
Shown here is what photos i have on my phone of my goliaths.
“Gorgeous George & the Southside Rollers”
Which sounds kind of like they belong in the 80s…
At the moment there’s 40 odd of them painted, with another 10 in the works. I got a little bit carried away.
And no Goliath gang is complete without a dude with 2 chainswords…
And just because sometimes you need a bigger gun…
Hopefully over the coming months after my rapidly approaching Americaland adventure i’ll be a more regular visitor and contributer
My 3000 odd unpainted points of big hats are still waiting patiently for some love!
Hi Captain Crayon. I must admitt I love the user name. It made my chuckle. Nice to see you are still “tinkering” with those man-dollies. Keep up the great work.
I'm always doing something with the war-dollies.
Still have 3 or 4 thousand points of orcs left to paint (i think i had around 15,000 points at last count a few years ago)
So the necromunda and playing around with scenery has been a pleasant distraction from painting hordes of little green men.
First thing on the list when i get home from holidays is a new game table, then more painting (and hopefully games)!
The car (otherwise known as Francene) is a 1939 Chevrolet Sedan.
Running a 3 speed auto and a 355 cube holden motor :)
