Taekada:
As the Title Says,
I cant find a consistent good method for getting My Battle for Skull Pass Thunderers to have Blunderbuss Ends.
I was hoping to locate a tutorial here to show me some tips and tricks… but to no avail.
Can any one point me in the right direction ?
Thanks !

I used the tips of the 40k chaos predator tanks. Cant take credit for that Wizzbang was the first to come up with it.

Here is a place to start: [[Chaos Dwarf Blunderbuss Conversions]]
The bucklers are only in the Thunderer plastic boxset, so you can either get them or use greenstuff.
Taekada:
Thats what folks were talking about when they meant buckler conversions.
Great !
Thanks for the input.
Anyone know how many bucklers you get with a box of Thunderer’s ?

There are more than one per model, so if you know a dwarf player he is bound to have a load spare. I think there are probably 24-32 per box of 16 thunderers.

There are many different ways to acheive that blunderb look, it all depends on what look and feel your going for with your units.
I believe Kera has used shaped beads as blunderb tips, some have used screw heads… there may even be some golf tee blundertips somewhere but i may be getting conversion ideas confused. skaven bells used appropriately could also make a nice tip.
earring backs can prove to be an semi ornamental flared end as well.
If you have a hollowed cone or bell shape you could press out some greenstuff tips to glue to the thunderer ends then with some tidying up, viola, nice niftly mostly uniform blunderb ends.

I used the bells from the zombies sprue but thats only feasible if you’re a VC player too

These are some GREAT ideas…
I have a ton of Flagellant Bits so off to check on if THOSE bells will be good … I am looking to make Simple, fun Chaos Dwarves from Mainly Skull Pass models.
Using Thumbtacks for hats has been a little goofy but I think the painted look will be good.
Pictures coming later tonight !
Thanks everyone, I can see the rumours of this being a great forum were true…

golf tees!!! is something easer

Bells from the Empire Flaggellant Kit Seemed to have worked. now I cant get pictures ready till Friday… but the Bells go Very Nicely on the end of the BFSP Dwarf Thunderers.
Why do I have so Many Flagellant Bells ?
Im feilding two units of Flagellants as HobGoblins/ Slaves. They have the perfect look… and are already chained up ! ( Have manacles on them, and collars around their necks ).
2 Units of Twenty. Purely as a living Meat Sheild. Cant wait to Feild them… no off to green stuff more beards and armor !

Bravo, I love using flagellants as slaves. They really do look the part. Be prepared to surprise yourself when they actually beat someone up in combat, though.
