So I’m using the Xander method for my Hobgoblins, catch is I’ve run out of feet. Has anyone had much luck casting the wolf-rider feet? and are there any pionters I can get before I try?
(I have an ample amount of green stuff for this metod, vaso and containers to make the casing in, i’m just worried about how I’m going to actually get the feet out of the mould)

I dabbled in casting myself (years and years ago), but I used to cast pewter. For this I used 2 casting rings and special casting-earth (a specially treated kind of dirt: red and a bit oily). You can use it over and over again, and I’ve found this site http://www.delftclay.nl/ sells it.
If you’re planning on buying one, let me know and I’ll tell you the fine details on this casting-method.

Has anyone tried it yet? I’m going to give it a go tonight I really hope I can get the feet out. I will see if I can take pictures. I have to borrow a camera so don’t hold your
breath

I would use Vaseline, i tried mold release and it didn’t really want to give up the “cast”
