[Archive] Historical medley (heavy pictures!)

Fridericus_Rex:

Hi all,

after (another) big break, I  am back with some historical miniatures. First off, a 1812 bavarian soldier fighting against or with napoleon.

After that little colourful adventure, here are some romans and celts for ancient periods.

The romans:

And here the celts:

And for something completly different, some future Wars Rebels:

I hope you like them

Stephan:cheers

Loki:

Great work on all of the models, i have to say i like the romans the most

CheTralfara:

The naked guy is hilarious, and everything else looks fantastic. I really like the low-to-the-ground bases… It doesn’t make sense to me why warhammer miniatures must be elevated so high off the table. Wouldn’t they lend to more realism if they were flatter to the ground?

Only thing I don’t understand is why a “future war rebel” would wear his imperial country’s flag, if he’s rebeling against imperial rule.

Zanko:

Awesome painting dude! :hat off

The Romans and Celts are my personal favourites! :cheers
