You would be suprised… i have used many interesting lists before … And plus, I have Goblin armies :slight_smile:

Why only shields? Add in Light Armor, you need to minimize casualties to win through CR. Also increase the size of each unit to 25 Hobbos and 20 Sneaky Gits.

Wouldn’t it be about impossible to deploy that many units? Even using units of 30 armour hobgoblins, a 6’ wide playment zone may soon be fairly severe restriction…

If you’re going to do all Hobgoblins, I can’t think of any reason you wouldn’t load up on Wolf Riders and use them as the core of your army. Hobgoblin infantry (apart from Sneaky Gitz) is useless as anything but cannon fodder.

Also, why not use a big unit of Oglah Khan’s Wolfboyz as a Rare choice?

if playing for fun then that list is pretty awesome. Unfortunatly panic will be a huge problem for that army list since your highest leadership is only 7. I would recommend at least have a cd hero as the general just to take his high leadership. that way you won’t panic as easy

I so wish CDs were still legal at GT. A Hobgob-crazy list like that with a CD general would be awesome, no one could ever get their points-worth off you.
