Gundini, it’s quite possibly the exact opposite. If you look at typical images that are linked to third world living standards (young, naked, African children is the prime example), you’ll notice a lot of them have pot bellies. It’s because they are suffering from illnesses provided by malnutrition, which leads to water retention, which is where the belly comes from. If you want them to be fat because of better feeding, that’s fine too: after all, they may be fed better than the other slaves as they are “trusted slaves”. On the other hand, you could say it’s genetic, but I think you’d have to say that’s specifc to their tribe because the Steppe Hobgoblins (the Mongolian type ones) don;t seem to be so potbellied.

Well Gundini, since the original potbellied Hobgoblins are no longer in production and since most people are converting BFSP Goblins or other GW Goblins, I don’t think it will matter how you make yours. The Hobgoblins of today are really just limited to your own imagination and it’s acceptible if they don’t follow the traditional GW metal mini of 1995. Heck! some people even use Gnoblars for Hobgoblins!
I’m extending some of my BFSP Hobgoblins to make them appear taller, but the majority of them are getting their weaopns replaced, from spears to axes, and their pointy hoods filed down. After this, they’re painted yellow to give them a different skin tone from their Greenskin Goblin cousins. That’s how I made mine stand out from the “Crowd”, as it were.

i turned my BFSP gobbos into hobbgobbos and now they have tiny arms and legs like metal tubes.
