Grimstonefire:
Random observation, as I don’t recall actually seeing one painted on here at all!?
It’s my favourite model out of the entire FW CD range, and one of the very few I don’t have.
Spotted one in Abecedar’s thread which got me thinking.

Bloodbeard:
I’ve seen a couple of them painted up, but not that many. It wasn’t really worth the points in 8th edition.
I don’t own any forge world models.
TheHoodedMan:
I had one but resold it. Awesome model but not really important gameswise. In 8th it was unplayable, in 9th age it is not very good, too.
Abecedar:
I do not physically own one myself. Budgets forebade despite liking the model as Grim’ said.
Malorndk:
The 8th ed. rules are beyond horrendous. Almost in a state of unplayable. The rules are long, weird, poorly written and straight up bad. Its super expensive both in points and money. Every single review I have seen on the models tells me, that this is THE hardest model to assemble across every war game on the market.
It does look cool though, but that is not enough. I would buy even though its rules sucks, if it was cheap money wise and not a bother to assemble. Alternatively: Apply a house rule that says: “The Skullcracker’s Thunderstomp can hit any trooptype.”
gIL^:
I saw one at Forgeworld store at warhammer world i took one look and just put it down, the model is in literally 100 pieces.
Bitterman:
I’ve got one, not yet painted it. Fantastic model.
Utterly dreadful on the table top… but fantastic model.
Carcearion:
It’s a cool miniature but considering all the rules problems I can see why no one takes it. Their isn’t even comparable Warmachine in the Abyssal Dwarves list to use as a Skull Cracker (although I think a horde of lesser obsidian golems would fit the bill fairly decently).
Timothy Archer:
i have one , but im actually pretty intimidated to build ( and paint it )there is so many pièces !! but one day …
Jackswift:
Have one, With one half built. Cool but finickity model. Not sure what it will be in Kings of War yet. Will have to move it up my list.
Admiral:
I own an unassembled one, intended to get some Hellcannonesque detail treatment. Favourite CD warmachine next to the Hellcannon. Played it will be, and tabletop performance be damned. But sculpting takes priority, so no demanding army projects for a long while.
The way the Skullcracker looks like something out of Donald Duck meets Chaos Dwarfs is too good to pass up.
curlybeard:
I have one, painted up. It is pretty awesome in age of sigmar. Whip the daemon in it and you can reroll everything

Admiral:
The Tenderizer and the Skullcracker look like silly Disney machinery with their whacking mechanical arms in front. Just a couple of quick examples, first Maurice’s machine in Beauty and the Beast:
And then this from a Don Rosa comic:
The silliness of the Skullcracker plays just fine with the Chaos Dwarfs. On the one hand, you have grimdark slavers and torturers and breakers of mortal souls and Daemons alike, with skulls and masks and fire and darkness. On the other, you have skyscraper headgear and fun looks and silly stuff. Always a good combo.
Tertius:
I don’t have one. Never even seen a picture. (Hint)
Tertius:
Is $82 a lot of Moolah for it?
Skullcrusher on Evilbay
Admiral:
$82 is the store price from FW, according to a Swedish currency exchange site.
Could be worth it, but then again if it is already assembled some parts might be harder to reach.
Herby:
Why offend beautifull miniatures because there rules are bad. I never bought minatures or bought not just because of the rules. I like the minitaure I buy it. Done.
I owned the Skullcracker because it was an awesome CD war machine.
Every single review I have seen on the models tells me, that this is THE hardest model to assemble across every war game on the market…What?! LOL
