tjub:

No, got a NES thou.

Crube:

Oh yes…

I love Wii Sports too. Also just got Wii Fit for my good lady and I, and it really works and is quite good fun too.

Other favourites are the more cerebral games (agatha christie etc) but also the family games - when my mum and step dad come over, we all love a few games of Cranium Kabookii

GRNDL:

I have a Wii and it never gets used. To me, it is just a gimmick and have not enjoyed using it a bit.

Also of note, when my house was broken into back in March, the burglars took my PS3 and 360 but didn’t even touch the Wii.

I hope you get use out of it, but personally I don’t think there’s any use to be had.

Perturabo:

I have one. I haven’t been able to afford many games for it recently though. Metroid Prime Corruption is awesome, but it might not be for you if you just want to play the fitness/movement gimmick type games.

Also the virtual console is quite cool. Old games ftw!

warh:

i got one!

i play mariokart a loot:P

Crube:

I use my Wii every day just about. I got rid of my PS3 as it never got used… ironic huh…

The wiifit is great, but you have to put a lot in to get results. Good fun, and certainly gets my wife and I off our backsides… In the last few weeks, I;ve lost 10lbs and Mrs Crube lost 7lbs…

Pyro Stick:

I bought a wii as soon as it came out (got 3 in the end by accident lol and sold the rest for a massive profit on ebay). I mainly got it for the games that were coming out at the same time as the wii. Zelda:Twilight Princess, Red Steel, Metroid Prime 3 etc. But since then there has been nothing worth buying for the wii and have since moved on to the Xbox 360 as it has soooooo many more games for it.

Perturabo:

I’m liking the look of red steel 2. The first one didn’t really appeal for some reason.

Perturabo
red steel 2 makes no sense. The first one was set in japan and that made sense because that was what the game was about (sword fighting etc blah) but the second one seems to be set in the "wild west". Sounds a bit stupid to me.

Willmark:

Very happy with the Wii, I dont get top play it as much as I would like however.

Thorne:

Rayman raving rabbids is a must buy. Had me laugthing more often than I played.

CDblunderbuss:

The Wii is fun, though haven’t got too many games for it.

Bought a 360 a couple of months ago, regretted that I did since it seems like 360 chose quantity instead of quality in most of the games for it.

How dare you! lol. But tbh that isnt true:

Assassins Creed
Dead Space
FEAR
Bioshock
Oblivion
Viking
Lost Odyssey
Fuel
Gears of War
Halo 1,2 and 3

Im sure there are more (assassins creed 2 and bioshock 2 will be good as well) but i dont have the money to be buying games. I think its the wii that chooses quantity over quality. Look at this list of Wii games: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Wii_games
Hundreds of them are either games of films, party games, games that appeal only to 5 year olds, remakes of older games, games ported over from the xbox and ps3 and unimaginative rubbish. For example, whos going to buy London Taxi:Rushour? Or Ultimate Duck Hunting? The only game on the list that i can say im genuinely looking forward to is Tales of Symphonia 2.

Pyro Stick:

i think 360 is the gw  of video games!! they controll the cool games

Kera foehunter
Its more like the Wii isnt powerful enough to handle most of the games for the Xbox. I think nintendo have finally realised that the hundreds of pointless games they release is pushing everyone away from wanting to play the wii so hopefully we can expect some more good games soon. Like Metroid M and another Zelda game.

And that list os the reason why I wont buy a 360 :p - all the same sort of thing - bores me to tears....

The only one on that list I personally think is good is Bioshock, but if I'm getting it I'd get it on PC because 360 controls where too annoying/difficult. Some of them do look good, but I haven't nor probably will buy them for 360.

GRNDL:

lol !! i just like simple games !! To yell and cuss at a t.v. and rage and break your deviced over a bad choise is a little to much !! must not have enough testosterone!!! i guess

Kera foehunter
Obviously you have not heard about the many TV breakages, pet and even child injuries resulting from inappropriate Wii use. Nintendo even replaced their Wii wrist straps to offset the negative PR from them.

@everyone else
It comes down to what kind of games you like and even down what game you like. I bought a PS3 for Killzone 2... 360 is mostly shooters, which I love, and that's gotten the most of my attention. The Wii just can't compete in the shooter category, even with its controller, their shooters just plain suck.

Willmark:

Agree with CDblunderbuss.

People complain about the “lack of games for the Wii” and then go play 17 version of the same game more or less…

Play what you want but 100 different version of the same game doesnt mean “more games”, it means more of the same thing packaged differently.

That said I like shooters and have had great fun playing COD WaW on Wii. But after you have shot mutant zombies, Nazis or mutant Nazi zombies for the 10,000,000th time its a bit old.

In short play what you want, like what you want, in the end its different strokes for different folks.

cornixt:

The argument usually comes down to “The graphics aren’t as good so the games aren’t as good” which is absurd considering how many hours I spent on my Speccy +2, back 20 years ago. I’ve not played on any of the current generation of consoles, but it is a bit sad how so many are just plain ordinary with co-op added.

Bassman:

No, got a NES thou. :)

If you said Famicom you were a god but still far the best answer :hat off

I'm a retro-gamin' fan ;P

If I'd only find a good pc engine/turbographx emulator.....

WII is nice, I'd like how they choose a different way from boring uber graphic consoles everywhere.....

but the real reason why I like the Wii is when I went to listen to The Notwist concert in Milan (electronic stuff) and one of them used the Wii controllers to control effects... amazing!!

:hat off
