@Hushut’sblessing:HAhaha mmm beer. With Hashut’s blessing I’m sure that if I distract my enemies with a tasty brew, I could easily win games. It’s probably cheaper and more productive than actually fielding hobgobbies. :cheers
@GrimboldBlackhammer: Seeing as how most people feel hobbos are kinda worthless on the battle field i’m still playing with the numbers right now. I have a horde of night gobbos I use at the moment. What I really would like to do I collect the old school hobbos, but they are prohibitively expensive on ebay so I was checking if people here would be willing to work out something reasonable with me. I love the hobby and all but no way can I afford 10-15 US doll-hairs a mini for a hobbo archer. Maybe if it was cast in gold or silver…
Honestly there are few things better than sipping on a cold mug of my favorite home brewed ale and playing a game or two of 'hammer with a beautifully painted big hat army. I would like to collect some oop hobbos just to add to the flavor to my builds. I am patient.

Sorry for posting this in two places, but I just saw this thread! The Red Box Games kickstarter that runs for 1 more week is how I am getting a ton of hobgoblins:

I did the math and I think 15 ranks of hobgobs (20mm bases) can fit in a deployment zone? I’m thinking of trying a bus of 75 :cheers more for fun than anything! I like to try weird lists and I just got the Tamurkahn book and have been scheming about a way to go hobgoblin - heavy.
Anyway, most of the goblins are small, but the bonebacks are (imo) perfect for hobgoblins (I have 20 of the metal ones).
I’m hoping the campaign will unlock the wolf riders, too, but if not I’m going to get some of the dire wolves and convert them to have hobgobs on top
