superfella:

how do all,

im also new to CDO.

have been into wfb for about 10 years, worked as gw staff here in the uk for about 3 years, but i left when they threatened to sack me for refusing to power sell the boxed games to 12 year old kids.

im primarily an Empire player, but a work colleague of mine was given a chaos dwarf army by his friend, which got me thinking that it was something id never tried.

stumbled upon the video tutorial by accident and now im hooked… if only i still had access to staff discount!

Narflung:

Good reason to get out from GW, and a good reason to come to CDO. Welcome

Hi. I started playing wh a year ago, by buying a starter set. I liked dwarfs as such race before warhammer, but when I knew that there are Chaos Dwarfs I serched the internet for the armybook and I liked (and I still like them) them wery much. Its sad that I have found this site just a week before.

furrie:

welcome

Kera foehunter:

CtoTheD:

Hey Guys, CtotheD here

I first played warhammer i think durring its 5th edition (the one with lizardmen (the ones with dustbin lid shields) and Bretonians.

I was sort on and off playing it but didnt have many people to battle with as most at the club at school at the time was all 40k with its guns and shootieness, so I packed it in sold my models for crack cocaine and started playing monopoly professionaly (if this was true I have a good biography on my hands.

Anyways years down the line i re introduces myself to the 6th edition i think well the one before this most recent one ?? and found myself excited my the leaps in designe and style for the armies Lizardmen now carrying the kinda sheilds huge reptillain beings should carry and then from there i started buying more minitures i could paint…all the army books i could get hold of and now we fast forward to The storm of chaos and the most gorgeous thing happened it seemed that gamesworkshop were taking an army i thought was superbly intresting seriously, gone were the tall hats and manichal stunty foes but sick twisted mask waring tool carrying craftsmen who were proud to call them selfs chaos dwarfs. Of course that was all we got three superb metal chaos dwarfs with a stiking new flavor for iron and blood.

Again time was for me to put my mintures aside but a angel from the heaven lets call him Xander  had vidoes on youtube of CD conversons from skull pass mintures and thus i was lead hear and am now a humble servant to the CD cause.

In short im glad i found this place and to all here involved this is some of the most amzing work i have seen and i hope to learn and contribute as much as possible.

Kick to the Face:

What up everyone? Canadian Warhammer player here. I have been playing 40k for about 3 years now (I play Dark Eldar, and Witch Hunters) and I got sorta bored with what 40k had to offer, so I started looking seriously into getting into warhammer fantasy, looked at all the races, and decided that i’de like to play Chaos Dwarves (I already have 4 old school sneaky gitz) because of all of the conversion possibilities and because not too many other people play them. Hopefully I can learn how to play WH fantasy from this site and also how to build a unique Chaos Dwarf army.

Felt that I had to mention that all of the armies i’ve seen on this site so far have been amazing, not to mention many members here seem to have a firm grasp on colour theory and alot of painting experience. hopefully I can contribute my conversion ideas to the wealth of information on this site, as well as learn from all of you chaos dwarf vets. Cheers.

Hi,

Have been playing WFB for about 10 years and got hold of a CD army about 4 years ago. Now a huge fan, preferring the big hat/assyrian look.

Obsidian:

Ah, an introduction topic! Might as well introduce myself a bit…

My name is Tim and I just hit the big thirty! A lot of people think they need to grow up at this age but I’ll gladfully keep playing with little toy soldiers!:stuck_out_tongue:

Been a Chaos Dwarf lover for about 14 years now. First few models I got were Big Hats but as soon as I got some classics in my hands I was hooked!

I own a fully painted 2000 points classic army and have just started my quest of making a new army based on the new look. Got lots of plans so I’ll visit here as often as I can.

Also I know quite a bit on painting and converting so if you have any questions at all just let me know and I might just be able to help out.

I love the friendly athmosphere here and the amazing stuff you guys are cracking out, works very inspiring! :cheers

aggraae:

Hi my nameis Andreas and im 19, live in Sweden!

I have played warhammer in 8 years now and have been a fan of Chaos Dwarfs but never made an army or played with em(just “normal” Dwarfs ). But i have started to play Blood Bowl and Chaos Dwarfs in Blood Bowl would be cool. So i have started converting and got alot of ideas from your forum, so i shall post pics soon.

Xander:

Welcome to CDO, Aggraae!
