A quick question about the Ogre Kingdoms Iron Blaster.
Does the Iron Blaster need to be turned to face directly at it’s target as described in the firing a warmachine rules or can it aim at anything in the forward arc?
This would have a direct affect on it’s ability to declare charge on other targets next turn.

I’d say it shoots like a cannon, so needs to be turned towards its intended target.

I have played against the Iron Blaster twice and watched it a number of other times. They are so maneuvarable that although they have to shoot in the front arc, they can establish that pretty easily.
The reason for my response, is that I have seen others try to charge the Iron Blaster, but have never seen the IB itself charge; it’s shooting is so ridiculous, that is usually just moves in your rear flank, preventing you from charging and just shooting you to death. Things have to have gotten pretty desperate for the IB to charge I believe.

Due to it not being a warmachine, it still uses its front arc, rather than a direct line with the barrel as per war machines.
