I’ve been lurking here for a few years, as I’ve always been fascinated in CD.
My first army back in 1999 was O&G - but only because I was told by the store clerk that CD were not that popular.
Last summer, I made the decision to finally get a proper second army (ok then, I’ve had two others, TK and VC, but ended up selling both), and this is the results so far.

Got some WIP pics of the Iron Deamon and two Deathrockets, but cant find them atm.
Striking colour scheme. It makes me think of Jurassic Park for some reason. I like it! Good stuff so far, but you should try to mimic Thommy H’s and Skink’s bases and make the lava more advanced. It’s worth the effort.
What a first post. Very nice colors and very well painted!! I agree with Admiral on the bases, those two guys have the best lava bases;). Are you planning to get a bigger Destroyer? He is a bit small yes…
Ah, yeah, the Destroyer. I thought it a Fireborn first and looked more at the fire than the base. To get that tiny one right you should fill the base with more stuff. More flames, and perhaps burning enemies? That way he’ll look mighty enough to compensate for his size.
I’ve been searching for something I can use as smoke - which wil not look tacky (tried with cotton etc, me no gusta).
I’ve also been thinking of getting some modeled flames for the barrel of the magma cannon, the destroyer, the prophets “casting” hand etc., but I haven’t found anything satisfactory yet… I’m horrible with greenstuff, so I prefer to modify finished products ^^
I looked at Skink’s bases… and I’m speechless. It’s safe to say it’ll be quite a long time until I manage to paint my bases THAT good - but I’ll try!

Black is a dangerous colout to choose for a colour scheme, but you pull it of nicely. Combined with the lava on the bases and the lavaish metal colours it works really well.
I too like the style. Am not a fan of the chaos dwarfs having grey skin as they came up with in the LoA fluff. But you’ve done a good job and I’ll applaud it whole-heartedly.
