So i’m rather new to the Chaos Dwarfs, I only started gathering them christmas 2013, and only returned to the hobby at summer of 2013 with a new army of Chaos warriors, I decided to just buy some dwarfs for ranged fire support for my WoC, and well… it kinda got out of hand and now i have an army of about 4000 points of Chaos Dwarfs!
Here are some pictures of what I have allready finished, on the painting table there is still 7 Bull centaurs with a Taur’ruk, 30 Hobbos that still need a lot of work, and Drazhoath on Bale taurus.
Infernal Guard, these guys were the first ones to be painted (and bought) I really loved how the models looked and went and bought 30 of them with a command, in hindsight I should have prolly gotten the sword and board models.
More Infernal Guard! These are the new Hammerers/Longbeards from GW, they don’t exatly look like FW Dwarfs but I think they line up well with the rest of the minis, next to them is my BSB also made from the Hammerers.
Lords & Heroes
My general Jorma, son of Antti.
And here’s Antti, hes gotten a bit senile in his old days so thats why his son has taken charge.
Daemonsmith Matti, the guy who takes care of the cannons.
Looks awesome, but please post the rest of pictures so they aren’t hidden in a link. The members here would love to see your painted warmachines. Duo deathshriekers, magma and hellcanon+ an iron daemon isn’t the usual magnitude of a new blog so show them and be proud!
I like the color theme and painting style as well as the bases. The bases are rather simple, but they work well together and do their job! Cant wait to se the centaurs and drazoath once painted.
Wow, the armor on your infernal guard looks terrific! Is that just steel armor with some kind of purple wash over top?
Grimbold Blackhammer
The armor is made really simply and i'm also happy with the results, it's just leadbelcher washed with carroburg crimson and after drybrushed with leadbelcher to highlight the edges.

I will post the rest of the pictures here in a jiffy, tune in for more!

Im glad you like em, I have actually gotten some bad feedback from my bases on other forum where I post my pictures, they are rather simple I know, but since I allready based my WoC the same way and I wanted to use these with them, they wouldn't look so "unified" with different bases. Also they aren't so dark in real life, I just cant take a good picture.
First of my Duo of hellcannons don’t really have a picture of the other, but well they are both identical…
Magma Cannons, they have actually gotten bases after these pictures were taken. Do anyone else hate the fact that our warmachines are such bigger targets for stone throwers and enemy cannons? Well no matter, I just have to get the first turn and shoot all the opposition to smithereens!
Iron Daemon, one of my favorites in the army, with hellbound it’s T8 W8 have fun chewing on that when it hits your ranks!
Deathshriekers! I have heard that people prefer magma cannons over these but I have had so much more success with Shriekers, I love the fact that they can hurt big monsters more easily with the single shot, but still are effective against massed infantry.
And here is a group photo of the team, also where they got the name Black Bastards, since the photo is so dark.
Hope you like em! Will be posting more as they come!
About basing: I understand why other forums might give you some slack. Now a days everybody and their grandma have full resin bases for their armies (like warhammer wasnt already way too expensive…) Seeing simpler bases might put someone off. Not me though. I like em a lot, as they bind your army together without stealing the spotlight from your models. And if your WoC has the same bases, thats just another incentitive. Please take some full army shots for all your painted chaos goodies! I have rarely actually seen the models in conjunction to one another.

Way ahead of ya! Not the best picture but thats all my miniatures I got done in just 11 months, on the left are the chaos dwarf forces, I should take some better mixing pictures, maybe use that Tamurkhan's book to create a army list containing both armies!
You did all that in 11 months? Did you quit your job to paint full time or something??? :o
I was actually in a part time job last summer that involved lot of being on call seeing if anyone needed help, I could do that from home so I just grabbed a brush and well... here's the result. Now I'm in a real job working as a warehouse worker, also the summer is slowing my painting projects.
Really nice collection, and all very well painted. I'm also curious to see your Bull Centaurs. :hat
Alas, the Bulls have to wait since I want to paint the Bale taurus first! Love the model and was surprised how big that mean *ucker is!
Been looking at your models a few times now, and finally has time to post a reply. A beautiful force you have here! And combined with your other chaos worshippers it’s a force worthy of setting the Empire ablaze.
Good humor to make the 90’s guy the senile one - made me laugh.
And compliments to your BSB - that’s exactly the size one has to go for!
One of the first things I noticed was your bases. I like how old school and simple they are. It looks great and effective.
Here are some suggestions:
Post you different units in the gallery section and help bee it up with more miniatures.
Get a photo model for posting units in that section.
Write up an armylist and claim a large armymedal - because you have a lot of painted points there.
Wow, this is an absolutely top notch collection! Very impressive! I particularly like what you’ve done with the Dwarf hammerers. Really want to try it myself now!

Only thing I don't like about the plastic little buggers is the beards, plastic beards can't really catch the details that the metal or resin models have.
Oh and I also added some chaos marauder shoulderpads on those guys instead of their originals, to bulk up them and give them more chaosy look!
Wow, they’re great. And amazing work for 11 months.
I noticed the Marauder shoulder pad on the Hammerer-based Infernal Guard, but I’d like a better/close-up picture of those if you have one. I thought as soon as I saw them that they would make good Chaos Dwarfs.
Raargh! My General Jorma has taken flight! On his trusty Bale Taurus nicknamed Lil’piggy, he destroys all puny mortals in his wake!
The summerheat and GW:s varnish tried to destroy my every waking hour spent on this figure but I managed to rescue most of it, some parts took some damage that I couldn’t repair, but they are on the rear legs and under the wing, so they can’t be seen.
