Well, I’ll wait for the final release but still most likely to go with kitbash to eventually replace my mcFarlane Taurus zodiac fig.

Hahaha, that’s so bad. I’m even more happy with the Destroyer I’m working on…
Bolg:
Best incentive to build your own! That is one ugly model…
Ravenswood:
I think it’s not so bad. At furst we need wait for the final release. An even if result will be the same then good convertion and painting will save him.
Discoking:
...good convertion and painting will save him.I want a model I purchase for upwards of £80-£125 to already be well designed.

fattdex:
Happy with my (to be finished) conversions.
Baggronor:
Hmm. Not for me. Those are some small legs for M9…
Perhaps I should make some big monsters in resin…
The Besieger:
I like this model :).
And it will be great to start painting this model.
So i will buy this K’daai Destroyer :).
I hope (because its still WIP) that Steve will add some flames on the body and armour.
Some extra flames for on the basse will be also great.
Skink:
Ugly. Epic fail.
Why has it got two Tomb Kings shields as shoulder pads?
…Was it really that difficult to copy the lava-flaming-bull art on Tamurkhan LIKE EVERYONE WERE EXPECTING THEM TO DO???
Discoking:
Ugly. Epic fail.Even if it were just more bull-like...

Work in progress… Hum…
I expected something like the artwork seen in monstruous arcana…
Discoking:

There are some simularities to The model…
Apart from the addition of shoulder pads, & weaponised chin.
It looks as though there are hands underneath the arm weapons.
It makes the whole thing humanoid.
Which is awful.
In the artwork it looks as though those arm weapons are in fact the arms, which is infinitely cooler.
Shakhorth:
Well that’s one model I won’t buy. Not my style.
Discoking:
New pic…
Looks like its 90% torso…
Those legs must be Motorised to get to M9…
A motorised daemon…

What’s up with the claws of the guy holding the Destroyer?

Steve really needs to trim his nails…
To be fair, the model definitely looks better up close in person. Steve said he needs to rework the legs(although they will still be of similar small size) and add more flaming parts(there are a few small flames at the moment). His explanation for the more monstrous form rather than like the Fireborn was that the Destroyer is a much more powerful Daemon and is able to become a more solid form. The armour around the body, head and arms is like an exoskeleton/cage covered in runes and the skin is covered very detailed cracks like he can barely keep his form, so I reckon it will look quite good painted.
The only thing letting him down in my eyes is the hind legs, which look like they are a fully mechanincal part of the exoskeleton. I may purchase it and remove the lower half, replacing it with a firery form as if he was coming out of some magma.
He also said that the posing of the back legs and right arm are pretty much locked in place and unposable. The left arm a bit less so, but basically it wouldn’t be easy to customise the pose.
Edit:The face has a two part mask, You can use just one part or both to either partially or fully encase the head.
Discoking:
What about the face?
Will the face be hidden?
As it looks awful compared to the artwork.
Tell Steve to get on these forums for advice
MLP:
Yeah there was some armour plates for the face but they weren’t glued in place. You can sort of see in Vogon’s pictures on the previous page.
