Leaving the GD and talking with a friend, we were thinking about juggernaut with minotaur head.
But as I didn’t read the Kdaai fluff, I don’t know if the Kdaai fireborn should look like to that.
Another idea is minotaur with a demoniac look. The cheapest way I think, as FW seems to stuck to the bull theme.
Great taurus without wings, and with green stuff should be a good Kdaai destroyer.
But, as FW produces many monsters, and are really good in making them, maybe you may wait for the official models (if they do them of course) and their fluff.

I must admit I really wasn’t expecting the K’daai to be on 4 legs, which they will be if they are based on the art.
These without the riders are probably the cheapest you’ll find (especially from a discount store). Just trim off the nose spikes and add some horns.

The cheapest : warhammer quest plastic minotaur.
Cheap, enough to be converted/damaged to look more daemoniac.
It seems pretty easy to make lava effect on the actual GW minotaur, lava flow between their muscles, as their muscles are huge.
Beast of Albion painted with lava effect.

Which of the two K’daii are we talking about? The “destroyer”… or the basic one? Are they both bull shaped?-because I thought its only the “Rare” on that is.

I’m going with an Araby theme for my Chaos Dwarfs, so I will plan to do Kdaai as ogre-based Efreet. An ogre top, flame bottom, might be a nice time to try out the clear plastic resin and lighting effects.
