i had a pirate party once for my birthday it was amazing everyone came dressed up and i decorated my flat with cannonballs (black balloons) palm trees made from paper and an inflatable parrot which ive still got

well these guys i gave them empier guns to make them part of an enslaying army . my wariiors are going to be more rouge pirate.I need more work with green stuff so i could do a better faces.

You should add a hat and eye patch to your photo in the self picture thread, you’ll be all set then. Just walk around saying “Arrrrggggghhhh” all day.

ive bee looking at your pictures and i think the problem you are having with your faces is ‘squishing’. its fairly regular among people who are using greenstuff to do faces for the first time, and is generally caused by using too blunt of an instrument to ‘cut’ facial details, when the putty is still very soft. for the cuts in th helmet your best bet is to wait about half an hour till it hardens a bit and then use something sharp like a scalpul or an xacto knife thing to make the cuts, and then using a flat edged sculpting tool softly caress the rest of the putty back into its original shape.
hope this helps.
[edit] - dont forget quick afterwork can be done by slicing solidified bits off, say somethings too fat, just cut it, or by filing areas smooth. make sure putty is completely dr before filing or you get bits stuck in the file.
