Great show, the standard is really burning the eyes. I think I will steal the BSB idea and convert it into my color scheme.
Not to sure about the BCs, think I will either do two bases (original and extended) or include old and modern ones.

Cheers for the replies, I do plan to base up the war machines when I get the chance I just don’t have any actual bases yet. The main reason I flocked the bases is so they fit in with the gaming tables I play on, but I see what you mean. I might just go all out and flock all the models too and say that they’re off on a slave hunt in greener lands…

With my Bull centaurs I based them about a month before the new ones were shown with the huge bases and I’m refusing to redo them! Glad you like the BSB, I’m very happy with how both my Castellans turned out.

Thanks! It was really simple to be honest. I base coated black then slowly went through the following range merging each one slowly, probably about 20 seperate coats. Chaos Black - Mechrite Red - Solar macharius Orange - Sunburst Yellow - Skull White. I brought the brush up in flame-like strokes for each layer. Making sure each was dry before the next coat.

I based the Prophet off some art in the Tamurkhan book if that's what you meant :cheers glad you like

The paint scheme on that Battle Standard’s banner is mega. Liking the Daemonsmith with the flames too. V nice army. :slight_smile:
