And two of them is made by WarplockMonkey (really miss that guy). Love that Jabberwock of his (theother one he did is the Oxgore), but really don’t have a use for such a mini - especially not when it’s at £70

I can finally stop keeping this secret lol. I think some of the stuff is way over priced though. I dont think they are going to sell many at that price.
A secret ? Think, quite a lot of people knew he was doing these for Tim Fisher. It’s hard keeping such sculpts a secret - when you show them off like Warplock did at TWF - but I’m glad he did. He has such a talent - and if he stays with it, he’ll end up as one of the best, I guess.
And yes they are fairly overpriced - so I think you are right - they won’t sell that many - but apparently, they sold rather a few Jabbers at the E.T.C.

I knew about it quite a while ago so the situation must have been different then. I actually completely forgot about it until now. When i was told about them i had to keep it secret but i guess he must have shown of a few sculpts since then.
I was listening to a podcast feat. Tim Fisher. He talks about these ‘Banebeasts’. It seems like Warplock’s Oxgore and Jabberwock is a limited edition run. Only 24 will be done - but they are looking into doing a resculpt (read: more casting suited) version.
They will do other monsters in near future.
And yes, Obsidian, think you are right - they are overpriced - taking the sculpting quality into account. Warplock did great (IMO) - but he is (after all) still learning - but I think thats near the cover-price when you are limited to just doing 24 high quality resin models.
look quite good and obviously fill a niche in the Beastmen book. Way overpriced as has been said.
The Jabberwock is the best looking but doesnt look how I imagine a jabber. I always think of the old old citadel Jabberwock wich looked just like the cover of Jabberwocky.

Well thing is that the Jabber looks unfinished to me. Especially the wings, claws and fur look sloppy and somehow remind me more of wip stages I've seen than a finished product. Sure the guy is still learning and is obviously quite talented but if I had a miniatures company I would never mould, cast and release it looking like this, not to mention the price.
I do like the pose and the potential of this creature but as mentioned would like to see it finished to a higher, more detailed quality. :)
