So here is an update on this model. I am playing in an escalation league so the rest of the army is also in the picture. The only thing I have left to do is add the lava pouring out of the cannon. I have still trying to decide if I want to put this whole thing on a base. That would be mainly for visual purposes. The lava I intend to use glue mixed with inks and then have fishing line coming out of the cannon. The glue and ink mixture will coat this. First layer of red and then a smaller layer of yellow, making it look like lava pouring out. I will also eventually replace the “boulder” with two ogres propping up the cannon on their shoulders. I do have a question for the community. My idea with the ogres and the lava is to portray that the cannon get extremely hot, so what I want to do with the ogres is show burn marks and scraps on their shoulders. Does anyone know of a tutorial on how to do skin burns?

Need to add hands to the ogres up front, but beyond that the model is finished.
