I heard the sonic boom, which surprised me quite a bit. Though I did figure it was either a sonic boom or something exploding.

Pretty damned impressive that you heard it. England had a scare today (as well as flight problems) because an Icelandic volcano erupted, sending an ash cloud 2/3s size of Britain towards us. It then dissipiated in the wind, lol
