Well i ordered them in the end so ill do an unboxing video or something. Mainly ordered them because a friend wanted the grand demon and couldnt pass on them for the price. That site really needs to get an english version as well. Makes it pretty hard to order and navigate the site.The resin china used wasnt so bad, but there WAS some recasters that had better resin than even forgeworld, this resin isn't as good.it looks like that forged forgeworld from china.That was my first thought as well but it doesn't really bother me. Im just worried the paint job is strategically hiding something. I think ill wait and see what Petterwass thinks first before ordering.

The banner is the one thing i really dont like so i just ordered the basic unit without the command group. Im hoping the shields wont be so noticeable when they are mixed in with another unit.

Actually, the shields are what I like the most. When I think at Dwarf infantry I always imagine an impenetrable wall of steel, which is perfectly represented by that shield wall. Too bad they don’t have curly beards though…

That standard is really good and I like the battle-worn theme of the models. But the models themselves don’t do much for me. I don’t get the shields, the weapons are a bit uninspiring to me, and no curly beards. I like the idea for inspiration but I don’t see me buying the models themselves.

Just got my order and they are nice sharp casts. Some slightly warped weapons and a few air bubbles, mainly on the fingers, but nothing major. They do have A LOT of flash on them though. Having 3 tabs on the shields seems like overkill so a lot of detail is lost on the back of them but it not visible anyway. Its going to take a lot of time to clean them up fully which is probably one of the reasons they are so cheap. They are saving time and money by not cleaning them. Came with additional shields and weapons which is nice but i have no use for extra bits. The Grand Deamon is very nice. Its a lot bigger than i thought it would be and has a really cool scenic base. Overall everything was excellent value for money. Now to see if everything glues together and ranks up well.

I really shouldn’t be buying them, but they are really cheap… I would have to swap out all the weapon heads and give them proper beards.

Pyro?Took a week from order date. Three days to post, four days for it to arrive in Scotland. Ive cleaned up half of them already. The bodies take seconds but the shields take longer and the weapons are just fiddly. Ill probably paint a test one tomorrow.
Keep us updated as you clean and paint them up. I have not ordered any yet, but am thinking about it. How long did they take to get to you from Espana?
