Firstly my version of the Black Dwarf based on Bagronnor’s concept art which would make a nice sorcerer. I’m going to keep the anvil I made.
I’ve attached a picture of him as he currently is, but here are some unpainted if people wanted to strip him back.
Secondly my Lord on Great Taurus. Note that this guy has fully articulated wings! Certainly a unique model. I have a feeling I won a golden hat with this.
This one I will happily sell with all rights for production. He needs a little bit of work finishing off the fireball hand which I would be happy to do if requested.
All these models I would be prepared to do some work on if requested by the winning bidder. I would only do this however if the bid is what I consider a reasonable amount.
If people can refer to them as:
Black Dwarf
Lord on Taurus (etc)
Sorcerer Green
It would help make sure I take bids for the right models.
Cash only
Paypal only and I insist on doing recorded delivery. I’ll give a full refund within 2 months of posting only if the product is returned to me in the condition it is sent (and at your own expense). I can’t account for the box being damaged in transit but I will pack it very well.
In terms of the amounts for these.
The Black Dwarf I would accept offers say £15 or more(+P& P).
Lord on Great Taurus £40 or more (+P& P).
Sorcerer Green… Although it’s incomplete (only just), as I’m selling it with all rights for production I’ll say £15 or more for this as well (+P& P).
I’ll leave it a few days and if there’s more than one person interested in anything I’ll open it up for bidding.
I would really like to see the Sorcerer Green cast. Any idea how much it would cost to get a run of them cast? If its not too much i might be interested in doing that.
You could do what I would do if I weren’t planning on sculpting a new one and just post it over to trollforged minis. If he wants it for his store he’ll cast and sell it, giving you back 50% of the sale price for every model sold.
It may seem strange, but if I’m going to have models for sale I’d prefer to make sure they represent the best of my skills. So if someone else is profiting off this sculpt I’m fine with that as I wouldn’t class it as ‘my’ model… If you know what I mean. :~
To have a contract cast for say 30 models could easily cost at least £300 (guess), the bulk of the cost is just getting the moulds made.
Baggronor would probably know the costs better than me.

Grimstonefire
Trollforged was what i was thinking as well but i didnt realise it would be so expensive for so little castings so ill probably leave it.
I may not have phrased that clearly. If you post it to trollforged it will only cost the postage. He takes all the costs out of his slice of the profit, so there is no downpayment at all. Presuming he wanted to sell it in his store.
A contract cast would be if you went to say Jeff Valent Studios and asked them to cast you 20 of that model. They’d charge you for making the master mould, cleaning the masters, a production mould, then individually per cast. Or possibly just for the master mould and individual casts if you didn’t need that many to justify a production mould.
Edit.
Interestingly Troll Forged (Ed) did quote me around $300 just for the material for 200 casts (moulds ontop), so that gives you some idea maybe for a contract cast.
Also, I have this model I’m willing to sell (sorry for the blurred pic). The price will be £15 again, and as always I would do any small changes required.
It’s probably suitable for a hero or champion. He’s standing on a snotling/ small goblin.

Not that much, at least not for me. If you had a 9" mould and filled it with master casts of the figure, you could fit probably 8-9 of him in. Which means 3-4 spins to get the number you want. The mould will cost you about £100 (masters + production) and the rest varies but I'd guess £130 would do it. Depends who you go with, obviously. I got my Command group done for £170-ish and that was 10 spins (60 minis). Would have been cheaper were it not for the absurd price of metal atm.
Imo, (I know its a bit late but) you're selling yourself short, Grim; those are some very generous prices for sculpts, even if you feel they're not your best work.
The best is yet to come, as I’ve done some great concept art to work from.
There will be a big difference in quality between what I make for production now and selling off these old sculpts, hence why I’m selling them off. But, incidently, the offers I’m getting for them are close or exactly on the asking price. So I guess that is a good match.
Basically I want all the models out there for sale with my name next to them to be as good a quality as I can make them.
These old models weren’t really designed for production (most of them), so I’m happy just to sell them for whatever I can. If people cast and sell them and make hundreds that’s fine by me, as I’m not going to.
