yeah the black white gold was used as a contrast effect, what u think it should fit better for beards and vests?

Here are some other pics!
I need help with corrections to the colour scheme

bas_2312:
Very nice! I like the Chaos Chariot wheels on the Death Rocket!
furrie:
The hats on the crew members are to gold, you might want some parts of it black
Bassman:
Find place for some red. Red will help you to bring color in and fits perfectly with gold and black. We can say it’s a “classic” for Chaos Dwarfs.
Nice use of Chaos chariot wheels
About beards… I’m not crazy for white… go blue! :)))))
franzbacco:
dam I think ill restart from zero… i’m starting to hate this army
looking for advices tips ex,

Bassman:
If you are going to restart… maybe move the thread to the right forum: army’s blog
I do not think you have to restart again… why do not check my color schemes:

Chaos Dwarfs DESERVE love, they DELIVER hate
franzbacco:
you’ve started from a white bas for all alan’s models right?
franzbacco:
Ok I did a fast restyling i think they are better now
what about the hats details ? what colour you would use in the background?

Bassman:
Well, I do normally prime everything black, they spray with white. Not entirely covering the model, just highlightenin’ details and point direction of light. This is a passage I skip during mass production. But yes, Alan’s miniatures where made with this technique.
The warm color of my gold is made with this recipe:
Scorched brown as a base (not underestimate the importance of a base color under your main color), gold, then wash with dark flesh. It’s the dark flesh the secret
IMO bluebeards help you to add the necessary touch of color your miniatures needed.
Your basic troops are ok, you just need to improve gold and you’re done.
Maybe the sorcerer needs more work. Not because he is badly painted but because he is a character. Character are always a good excuse for more colors. They are the center of your army after all.
And nobody would follow a leader if he does not dress properly
furrie:
It might look beter if you only did the details on the hat gold and the rest black (the hat)
Tarrakk Blackhand:
Agree with Furrie…(But was hoping to say it first.)
Are you using a copper colour paint on the hats? Maybe try a hat on one of your models with the same type of style you used on the middle figure on the first page and then pick out the hat details using copper and gold paints. - I’d do the base colour of the hat in black, the rings in copper and the skulls and arrows using gold.
I do like the way the muted browns and blacks you used for their armour. It makes your guys look like they are made from the “earth” that they’re standing on.
