So mom says she is really tickled by interests in the big hats. She is set to work on a couple more, and she mentioned it might be worth checking to see if anybody else wanted one before she goes back to Barbados in a couple weeks. She is not able to make them from home for a number of reasons (cost and availability of materials & difficulty/expense in international shipping from there). I apologize to any of you who have heard to much about these hats, but I wanted to make sure anybody who was interested got a chance she wasn’t able to do this anymore.

Sorry that took so long, but mom says she would be willing to make more hats if folks wanted to buy them. She will be around for at least a year this time, and says it’s easier to make several simultaneously then to make the same number as one by one. If there s intrest let it be known and we’ll work it out.

Alrighty folks. I am talking to her and will get back to you all as soon as possible. Fair warning, I’ve encouraged her to set a price that she feels good about + shipping. That being said, I’m not touching the money at all.
Mom is really tickled at the response and the compliments. We’ll need to make sure folks take pictures for her after they get them.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you fine folk, I keep letting real life become way too much of distraction but I am working on it. The good news is I spoke with mom last night and she’s still excited about making these for people who want them. She admits to not really understanding, but that she loves how much people are enjoying them.
So she says that she could feel good about making them for whoever wants them for $75 USD, + shipping. She will ask you for a measurement for your head and some color preferences for the hat and beard. She’ll also ask interested parties to put down $40 for materials and pay the balance (+ shipping) upon completion. Oh, and I have to do a better job collecting pictures of folks in big hats because that is her favorite part.
All that being said, she said it’s a bit easier to make several at the same time if multiple people are interested so please let me know if any of you would like to do this and she is happy to get the ball rolling.
