Necrotique:
Here’s my first mage of metal (and first go at scale male)
Let me know what you think.
Still building the base so sorry he doesn’t stand up properly, I’ll upload photos of him painted very soon
I want him to stand on something cool, so what do you guys think he’d look good on? I was thinking a dead body of sorts to make him stand out from the other dwarfies.

Clean off the mould lines before you do anything with the parts.
The beard looks good, the armour is a little messy. Usually best to practise on lowly troops and then spend longer on characters. I love the helmet!
Necrotique:
Thanks for the opinion
I know it sounds nooby/is, but what are the mould lines persides the gaps left in between parts and do I just greenstuff them?
cornixt:
The mould lines are the thin dividing lines made in the model when it is produced in a mould. In the top picture you can see a thin line running down the middle of his left army. This is normal, just scrape it with a knife or lightly file it down.
Necrotique:
Ah, I see it now. Will file those down before the final paint.
I’m going for a more vintage look with my models so hope that’ll get pulled off fine
