I’m still in the process of collecting my stunties (haven’t actually started painting too many of them yet) so this list may be tweaked a bit in the future. I just bought a lord on a Taurus, so the lord may be getting altered a bit.

metro_gnome:

mmm dwarfy…

your lord is very easily avoided… i’d switch up for youtr shiney lord taurus…

better yet… id swap him for a BC lord…

or swap him out for sorceror and push the magic phase in your favor…

whatever you do drop the gauntlets…

drop the muscian from the BCs… maybe the champ too…

use the points for the musician on the wolfboyz… totally worth it…

and bump the hobbie unit up a bit…

wallacer:

The Gauntlets bump his strength up to 7, which means he can kill chariots. Sure there is a downside to the gauntlets, but being able to autokill chariots seems worth the sacrifice (I am of course assuming that the Strength bump from the magic weapon and the gauntlets actually stack with each other).
drop the muscian from the BCs... maybe the champ too...

metro_gnome
I was planning on getting them into the flanks of enemy units, if I could, but realistically they will probably have to go toe to toe occasionally, hence the musician and champion. But yeah, I may have to ditch them to free up some points.

metro_gnome
That is all the greenskin infantry I own :(

metro_gnome:

they do stack… but the BC lord getz all the goodies with out the kill your friends boxing gloves…

the gauntlets are best used on a hobbie hero who is alone… with his brethren… or with orcs…

15 point musician is never worth it… the champ is a take or leave…

Xander:

What about gauntlets on a BC Hero/Lord who rides alone?

metro_gnome:

well the lord doesn’t need the gauntlets…
he has S7 with just the hammer or with just a GW if you use appropriate house rules… S8 is unecessary…
If you BC hero is acting alone it can be helpful… i dunno… new targetting make me very wary about a lone hero…

one thing that i’ve thought of is using them in combo with the enchated shield and HW…
you get +1S and a 2+ save…
but it does cost 94 points… which is the same as armor of gaz + GW… +2S and a 1+ save…

really the kamakazee hobbie hero is the best place to put these… all bash and no class…

Father Grumpmas:

The list looks solid - all your lord and the two heroes are all fairly “fighty”, which is good. The CD warriors are solid defensively but at ST3 lack a bit of punch.

I would strip the BC unit command down to musician only and also add a musician to the wolfriders - that extra point of LD can usefully on the rally.

Never played the Lord on Taurus myself but he always just looks like a big target to me.

metro_gnome:

um… BCs are rallying at 9… 10 if near the general… a 15 point musician is never worth it…

the wolf boyz do need it tho… itz the only command model they need…

there is no taurus in this list… but it would look better than this M3 lord…

metro_gnome
ok, i'll get rid of it then. I'll need to free up some points to include my Taurus anyway, so I may as well start there.
