As there are only 3 of us at my local club who play fantasy - the games started to get a bit stale. We tried using different gaming systems Batman miniaures game one week, dust the next. We then came up with the idea of a campaign and to make it more interesting, we all started new armies.
The idea is we write an 800 point list and then paint the models. We play games with this army as a campaign and then 3 months later we add another 700points. 3 months later we add 500 points and finally 3 months later we add 1000 points - boom, a yearly campaign done and we all have a new 3k army. What I really like is the narrative.
The start of the campaign is tonight and I am really excited.
I am creating an empire army and basically as this isn’t a tournament list, I am buying the models that I like the look off.
I shall post some pics if peope would like to see them but I actually need your help guys - I am after a really nice wizard model. The narrative of this guy is a drunk and disorderly wizard, who moons the highborn ladies and drinks far to much and when he is arrested, uses magic to escape his cell.
The current GW wizards look to honourable and studious - can anyone recommend a good, ruddy looking wizard?
