Pictures aren’t great. Usually my wife (a photographer) takes them, but she’s been too busy. I just used my Ipad.

That’s awesome - It’s basically what I’m trying to do!
How did you do make to larva-rific skin.
Kudos.

Consider that idea stolen (the dremel bit). I’ve been struggling to decide whether to paint on a scale effect (like the red metal here) or carve in some cracks. Your model has convinced me this will work.
Edit. Also, incase you were curious, you can make attachments a lot bigger by using these tags instead. Just copy and paste the line and put in the numbers.

Thanks. I didn’t know that. Let’s see if it works.

that is a very cool destroyer! I just hope I can have the right model by sawsIf you want to create something easy, cheap and probably end up really cool, go to Toys R Us and find a toy Bull from a company like Breyer. Here's an example:

one of the best conversions of the destroyer i’ve seen IMO, there are a few others i really like too tho but your’s rates within the Top 3 i like.
Time of Madness:
Really like this destroyer!
Great work!

Wow, simply amazing! Great work and definitely gives me some ideas, I was going to go a whole different route and take that new CSM Dreadnought and do a lava daemon from that with a modified bulls head but this just looks too good…
Keep up the good work!

In case anyone is interested, the base is from the Thunder Mountain range from Base-X-of-War.

If you do end up buying something like this and get it online, make sure what size you're getting since they do come in different scales. For instance, I'm not exactly sure what size that one on ebay is. You'd want something about 100 to 150 mm long. Like I said, I found some at Hobbytown, but they weren't the cool looking rodeo bulls like the one above. I'm guessing Toys R Us might have them.

yeah I actually spent a couple of days looking around for different bulls. could only find tame ones. I went to toys r us, target, some generic toy store at the mall, michael's art store and even the zoo. I think my best bet is to buy online. or just probably buy the thundertusk/stonehorn and do a conversion. If you do end up buying something like this and get it online, make sure what size you're getting since they do come in different scales. edit*Both of those look really nice. I think I like the second one that's getting ready to charge the best. 5.5 inches long. Perfect size and only $7.00.
found a couple of other bulls that could also make a good base.

Really nice looking destroyer! Brave to spend so much on the FW Taurus then convert it!
Discoking:
I’ve got a tamed Bull & am using your technique (kind of)…
[apologies for the awful pictures]

I’ve gotten a few messages on where I got the Bull - so here’s where I got it.
This would be interesting too…
Sorry for high jacking your thread, tvandyke!
tvandyke:
Sorry for high jacking your thread, tvandyke!Very nice. That's the exact same bull I liked from the links DaCrusha sent. I think it's going to come out awesome especially with the flames along the back. I'm kicking myself for not going with one of these other bulls instead of spending so much on the Forgeworld model. At the time I was headstrong on the idea that it needed to have armor, however when I actually started trying to sculpt on flames there were times I wished the armor wasn't there so I could put them on the back like you're doing. Oh well, live and learn. Post some pics when you get it painted.
