I’m going to a tournament in September and one of the things they require is a Mascot Model. The only real rules for the model are that it must be on a 40-50mm base and will be utilized in some of the scenarios. I don’t know how it will be used, but my guess is it will not be able to go into a unit. Looking for some ideas on what to make. It has to be fully painted, but no other criteria right now. The theme behind my army can be found at the link below. Essentially my army hates all elves and dwarves. Thought I might could utilize this somehow. Maybe some sort of monster killing elves and dwarves. Not sure what I could use that is not normally seen in these armies, don’t want any complaints that people are confusing the mascot with some other model.
I think something like an ogre with cd beard holding a huge cd hat like a trash can and a ‘litter stick’ that he’s stuck into a high elf helmet. Maybe a dwarf head in the hat.
Maybe one of these guys. Bloodbowl has a lot of nice mascots and cheerleaders and stuff. Loads of 3rd party stuff too. Or something from Mordheim or old citadel like an old Minotaur Lord Ox Roar or something
I like the idea of the ogre “janitor” model cleaning up the battlefield of dwarf and elf remains. Have to do a 50mm base for that probably. Could have him dragging around a trash can with a pointed stick in one hand. Maybe a dwarf or elf head stuck on the end. Would make an interesting unit filler in games also.
