No gobs of any sort in my army (yet). Haven’t been a fan of the GW hobgobs or gobs for that matter. I’ve considered doing confrontation gobs as they are soo much more Characterful and varied. Labyrinth style goblins however are something I could definitely get on board with!

When I spoke with them back before the range was released, the hobgoblins were being worked on. Apparently based on the goblins from labyrinthWhen was this?

Now that is particularly welcome news. Previously, FW had chosen not to put out Hobgoblins because IIRC the cost for a horde of resin Hobgobbos would be astronomical. A missed opportunity in my opinion, given the silly prices OOP Hobgoblins go for on Ebay, but perhaps the new variant of Hobbos could rectify this miss? Many Chaos Dwarf collectors are not known for taking the cheap route but will pay for quality. Looking forward to see the green bastards. :)One radon I'm glad I got my hobgoblins years ago (something like 60 for $85 US). Prices now are jacked up.

Murkwood:
Well, I hope the range doesn’t ghost before I get to buy what I wanted.
Shar’tor is in the FW 2016 physical catalogue next to the Bull Centaur Renders and Taur’ruk. So that’s a good sign. Taur’ruk is also featured on an oval base.

Any news on the GW hobgoblins? The labyrinth goblins are excellent.
Firehammer:
When I spoke with them back before the range was released, the hobgoblins were being worked on. Apparently based on the goblins from labyrinthBack before the range was released, Rick Priestley was boss of Warhammer Forge and planned a big 4 book series featuring each of the Chaos Gods, with the Warhammer World being completely destroyed in the end. Shortly after that, Rick Priestley was fired, the first book rewritten, the other 3 books cancelled ... and the freshly hired specialists for fantasy monster sculpting recruited for making Space Marine shoulder pads like everyone else (GW destroyed the Warhammer universe anyway, but that's a different story). Out of frustration, sculptors did their fantasy sculpts in their free time at home. And Rick Priestley wrote the foreword for Mantic's Fantasy rules, highly praising the author (also a GW refugee) and system.

Any news on the GW hobgoblins? The labyrinth goblins are excellent.GW has yet to confirm the existence of Chaos Dwarfs in the new Space Marine Fantasy world. Rumours said, that even Gnoblars have been cancelled. But even if someday GW rereleases AoS Hobgoblins, they will probably be called Hubgerbleens or something, in a bogus attempt to make them look more copyrightable.
