Ohhhh dear my wallet is going to hurt...

I LOVE the temple guard...i remember back in't day when i emailed GWto get them to make plastic temple guard..my young dreams have come true!

I also ike the more feral look they have been given, like the horns tied to the sheild, i see a pretty awesome Oldblood conversion coming along...;)

And the just tied two of the saurus standards together! If thats not lazyness i dont know what IS!

The kroxigor looks alot lot better painted than the old resin picture...but im still not convinced by the head, may haveto sculpt another one...

And im in two minds about the terradon...it looks very static, and they havnt changed the rider at all! But again, nothing a bit of putty cant fix!

Ooooh i cannot wait...iv never been so exited about a GW release EVER, finally an update of my favorite army! *dodges blunderbuss volley*

These guys look awesome. I am glad that it looks like they are keeping them relatively the same. They are only making them better. I will need to start up my lizardmen army (seeing that I have 5 box sets off still on the sprue lizardmen, and 4 boxes of still on sprue skinks, and another 4 clipped but not put together skinks…)

I’m so glad they changed the temple guard! first reason: they look great, second reason: Plastic!, third reason: they aren’t all wearing baby triceratops skulls…I mean seriously how common were the things? did they run around in flocks like pidgeons?..once again I digress.  Love the look of the new models.

I don’t really like the look of the terradon…might just be the paint job though

You can see the Skink priest in the picture - he’s the one closest to the ring on the top, wearing a small skull on his head. Its nice to know that the plastic steg can model the option for a Skink priest. IMO, it seemed a waste of a Stegadon metal kit to give a Skink Priest a mount (albeit a VERY good one).

The Engine of the Gods is supposed to receive its own kit, I think, as the animal that carries it is different from the Stegadon. It is called an Arcanodon IIRC. The Engine is in the new army book, apparently, so I would imagine they’d have something to cover it.

Personally, i think the teradons look like they’re hopping rather than flying. The Krox are OK, but not sufficiently so to make me buy them.

The Temple Guard are superb as is that Engine of the Gods thingy (if that’s what it is).

Btw I was thinking of collecting lizardmen, but I picked dwarfs. I think they’ll be my third army (if you can call those 5 CD as a second one)

Gahh im in love! The kroxigor actually look alright from them pictures, the razordon looks GREAT, the standard looks great! But im afraid im not overly impressed with the metal character...maybe with a head and tail swap, and a bit of putty lovin' he will look like the big meaty lizard hes SUPPOSED to be!

Ooooh im getting more and more exited every time i look at thsi thread! Slaves going to you godbob for keeping us informed!
