[Archive] New player/poster- LoA in AoS

Hello everyone! :cheers new poster and player here. I bought the tamurkhan book in the last hours before it disappeared forever and fell in love with the LoA. I’m experienced in 40k, but I’ve always had too low a model count to play fantasy. Now that AoS has dawned, the huge blocks of 40 man units arn’t needed to play and skirmish games are common enough again (despite everyone’s hatred towards AoS) and it means I can finally play in a meaningful game!

So that leaves me wondering…how the heck do I play this game and lead what little units I have to victory?! x.x

Currently I have 10 Infernal Ironsworn, 20 fireglaives, 3 Daemonsmiths, and a command group ( consisting of 2 sarges, and a banner carrier).

I’m a long time fan of Warhammer fluff (despite AoS) and I’d like to use these guys in a fluffy way! But I’m a complete noob to AoS and could use some help.

P.S The local meta at the GW shop has a long time nurgle/WoC player and the owner plays Tzeentch daemons/WoC. Not sure what others play but right now there is a WoC tournament and there’s 4 other people in that.

Hi, welcome to CDO. I really can’t provide any help for AoS, because I don’t play the game myself.

but welcome aboard, we do have some AoS players here. Doombeard for example, try getting him onboard here.
