Looks good, although he better be on the look out for Skaven trying to nick that hat - a chunk of warpstone that size would fetch a pretty penny back in Skavenblight (assuming they didn’t scoff it all before getting there ;p)
Only thing I can suggest is maybe work on the base a bit so the edges are all one colour and maybe blend the lava a bit so the layers are less distinct and more ‘fluid’.

Good advice, Dînadan. I think the crystal ball is fine as it is. You could add one or more small dots of white or Mithril Silver as a highlight. Greatly painted Sorcerer-Prophet, by the way!

this model reminds me some pictures in the 5th edition rulebook in which there were some CD with orange beards and blackish tones…
