Dear All Concerned,
Well, Hello all, because this is my first post of many! I have been viewing for a while, because I wanted to start a Champions of Chaos Army, and I see a lot of potential in CD conversions. I would use the CD models in my Champions of Chaos army as “counts as” Chaos warrior type things. Hobgoblin wolf riders will count as chaos knights, etc. I will be mainly using reall Champions of chaos models, but will have three or four units of CD models “modeled” in!
On to the IDEAS!
1.For the Hobgoblin Scouts/Wolf Riders, I was going to get the normal goblin wolf riders bow set, with some GS modelled fur, chainmail and chains/skulls/etc. For the Commander of this unit, I will use the LotR model, “Wild Warg Chiefton (?)” model and be modelling the rider onto him.

I have a few other ideas, but I wanted some feedback on these first.
Also, I may not be able to mve very quickly on this project, as I have many projects underway already (which include night goblins modelled as grots and carrying pictures of necron faces. It. “counts as” a necron army)

Thommy H:
They all sound like nice ideas, though obviously I think I’d rather see Chaos Dwarf models used to represent Chaos Dwarfs, since the army is so niche anyway and could use all the promoting it can get.
torn:
it all seems a bit random, i have to admit im rather confused.
you could mix some armoured CD’s into a chaos warrior unit etc, that way getting CD’s some attenion
Xander:
Wargs are cool, and would make pretty sweet hobgoblin mounts.
catbarf:
Wait. Did you just say you’d use Hobgoblin cavalry as Chaos Knights?
minty:
well first, YTHC stop using that damn dear all concerned, i told you on the realm it’s realy annoying
2nd, well sounds good for the using us in your army, but put them in seperate units to point out that chaos and chaos dwarves are seperate.
also, maybe bull centaurs as chaos knights, since hobgobs ain’t exactly the toughest of humanoids
see ya

Dear Minty,
I wouldn’t mind being able to start my posts like I want too thank you very much. Is it really that much trouble to read "Dear All Concerned,"
I don’t like seeing long signitures after posts, but I don’t complain, its three words, I think you can get over it.
Dear All Concerned,
I am currently going nowhere on this project as I need to pick up the box set to mke the dwarves.

I agree. Minty, your negative attitude concerns me. Let Yourtimehascome be, he is not breaking any rules by starting his threads that way. You have been warned.
AGPO:
I think using hobos as Knights of Chaos is unfair as its totally un-WYSIWYG. Your best options for including CDs in a chaos army are as follows:
Lord on Taurus - daemonic mount
Sorcerer on Lammassu - disc of Tzeentch
CD warriors - Dwarf mercenaries
Hobgoblins - Human mercenaries
Wolfriders - Marrauder horsemen/mercenary light cavalry
Bull centaurs - Chaos Knights
Death rockets/earth shakers - mercenary cannons
sneaky gitz - duelists
Orcs - Chaos warriors
Black orcs - chosen
This is waht I did for my army anyway… hobbo bases are too small to be used as chaos models - they don’t fit the rules. hope this helps - AGPO
