[Archive] Nosferatu's New House

Tarrakk Blackhand:

Here’s a little “Comic Book/Picture Movie” starring Nosferatu and his new house.

Welcome to my house showing Boils and Ghouls!

Now, which one was the key to the front door?

Ahhh yes…I remember. It’s Number 13!

It’s not too far away now, it’s just a short walk up the sidewalk over here…

Come along now…and mind the cat!

Oh look!

It seems the Real Estate man is waving to us from the attic window.

I wonder if he just stopped in for a bite?

Well, let’s not keep the man waiting, shall we?

That’s better!

And just to let you know…it tasted just like chicken!

Hope you liked the visit and I’ll see you again real soon kiddies!

A nice little bedtime story. The model came out really nicely. I can’t help but wonder what it would look like if you shot it under “movie lighting” - would it look like the movie footage? What made you decide on those colours, since obviously the original movie footage is in black and white?

Now that you’ve finished you should check out the movie “Shadow of the Vampire” for what REALLY happened on the set.

Tarrakk Blackhand:

ThanX for the feedback Grndl.

I own both movies, actually. Willam Defoe did a wonderful performance.

As for the clothing and overall look, I consulted this website : http://vampir.headlesshearseman.com/paint.html

It has all the movie production notes and articles on what each actor wore or could have worn in the movie as well as their hair colour, eye colour etc. It’s an invaluable resource for monster modelers.

Any chance of you doing a Vampirella? (note the “a” preceding)

Tarrakk Blackhand:

Maybe not…depends on if moebius re-releases her. I can build a “Victum” though!

nice fun and festive panel sequence. Well done model work, luv the deathly pale palor on Nos.
