Hey all! Me and my friends are making a few new units for scenario’s, and i wanted a bit of help creating my unit- Skrappaz. We all will create a unit, as the battle will have A LOT of tanks. (So far im using 5 battle wagons, and a deff dread). Pretty much these guys are a fun unit used for anti tank. My enemy? the accursed Tau, and the IG. Points are undecided, but they will be allied against my boyz.
Ork Skrapaz carry special rounds that have bullets weighing as much as 10 pounds each, and these guns are carried by the most elite flash gitz. The guns themselves are like miniature cannons, but also carry’s a risk of exploding outright with all the gun powder orks cram into them.
Unit size- 5 Skrapaz and one Nob. May add painboy. All models are in heavy armor, but do not have a power klaw, and their big shoota is replaced by a Scrap gun. May have power klaw at +25 PTS each.
Special rules:
Scrap gun- R36" S10 AP1, Gets hot, heavy 1. Before shooting, roll two D6. If the result is a double, then roll a separate D6 and consult the chart below. Roll for Gets hot at the end.
1- CRACK! The shot is fired, but it is counted as firing a lance.
2- BOOM! The shot is fired at the closest friendly unit
3- WHAM! The shot is fired, but as a small blast S8 AP4
4- silence The shot is a dud, and the skrapa must reload their gun. They may not fire this turn.
5- FRRIZL! The gunpowder works unusually strong, and the bullet is heated red hot in mid air. The shot counts as Melta and the range is doubled.
6- BACKFIRE! The shot backfires! The model firing it take’s a wound, no armor saves allowed.
