Uh…I suggest mixing on a very low speed…outside…wearing some kind of disposable clothing…
A friend of mind paints minis professionally (that’s a job??) and revealed to me that hidden amongst the GW paints is a little bottle called GW Paint Medium. Just add it to your bottles that are getting a bit dry and they go back to normal. For the record, if your paint is completely dry, it doesn’t do anything at all =(
Kera foehunter:
well i use flow improver oops sorry guys… But i just could get the paint to thin back down by shaking it.
Hashut’s Blessing:
The Medium is for turning them into glazes. also, you can use water to thin them. They’re water based paints…
Abecedar:
please, please, please, show us pics of the machine in use. especially the splatter effects I’m sure it will create
Kera foehunter:
No !! i hate to clean up the mess ! but it will work on valajo and reaper paint in the long bottles.
Mad Dave:
you could try a dremel to stir the paint as it has speed control on the side and a extension to fit you state of the art stir’ing tool.

Hmmm... two options:
1) I have girly arms too
2) Having little manly arms doesn't help any for the shaking
or in other words, the only way get most new GW paints usable is to stir them to break of the gloop.
I've been buying several Vallejo paints over GW lately, GW is surely on to a winner with the new paints...
I waste more paint on the stirry-thingys than subsequently goes on miniatures. :mad:mad:mad

Hi there,
i use so called agitatorballs in all my paintpots.
They are actually stainless steelballs, when you shake the pot it makes this nice klicker klicker sound and mixes the paint.
Make sure to get stainless ones, otherwise your paints will be killed by rust.
I bought mine here:

Or use large chunks of white metal offcuts from your models
