I recently tried to update my log with a single picture, yet I somehow could not make it show up, whether I hosted it on Photobucket, Google Photos or Imgur. I’ve never had this problem with Photobucket before. Is this a larger issue, affecting others as well? Is there a way to fix it? Do you have other, free, photohosting sites to recommend?
Edit: Used imgsrc.ru, but the problem with Imgur and Photobucket remains.

I have had this problem before and I eventually found out that the file name the individual picture(s) had when I uploaded the photo was too long. When you paste it from photobucket or where-ever, the file name is repeated/duplicated in the IMG “address”? causing a conflict with our website and hence the photo will not show up.
I had to delete the photo from my photobucket, rename in my computer to a shorter name then re-upload it and try again to post it.
Well that is one possible problem.

I’m not interested in the Internet in and of itself, but only in its use as a tool. Whenever I enter a new website, I make a quick surface check: Virus scan, creepy stuff visible?, useful?, userfriendly? I could never have guessed.
