this is a very good example about what all could be done with just a little bit of sprue, and imagination. (this sentence isnāt totally rightā¦) awesome!
If I can give just a little suggestion: sharpen those metal partsā edges. Now that green stuff is hardened itās time to cut with a blade tool the edges of the metal parts in order to get a sharp edge. If you do so the metal plates will look less āsoftā and more actual metal.
I think thatās incredibly impressive. Iāve seen the real one often enough IRL so I know what Iām talking about.
No roses without thorns though. Iād check the model over for moldlines. The goblin āammoā has a some eg. Iād also take a look at the ropes, I realise itās probably a bit too late, but thatās what you get for showing pics after the GS has dried. My point, ah yes, the scoring of the ropes does not reach the bottom of the GS, which sort of breaks the illusion of it being rope. If you understand what I mean.
:)Thank you everyone! I am so glad you liked it!It took me a lot of time to go this far with the Goblobber and now I finally have my own!

Thanks for the comment:hat off
I have already shaved off some moldlines and sculpted the whole throwing arm to look like wood. However I donāt understand to which ropes are you referring to. The ones that keep the gobbo tied up or the ones that are actually a part of the Goblobber? Please tell me. I might be able to fix it that way.:yarā>:)
Snowbliz is referring to the ones on top of the machine itself. When you creAted the lines you havenāt cut to the bottom of the gs breaking the illusion of a rope. Other than that the model is freakin awesome mate! Well done!

AH I see what you mean. Hopefully painting will fix that. If not I'll shhave 'em off and resculpt them.
Thanks for the comment by the way! :hat off

Golder Goldeater
Yup, that's essentially the problem. It may be possible to fix it with sharp hobby knife and some very careful work.
To some degree it affects most of the ropes on the entire model, but the ones on top of the launcher are really obvious and would likely need attention beyond the paint.
