Found these on Privateer Presses website. (I don’t normally go out and troll for stuff, but thought these might great starts for immortal conversions. Maybe one of the more creative sculptors out there could go crazy with them?

Seen them before but only because i play warmachine, good idea to use as immortals, think i could make something work with them… Replace the hammer with a large curved axe…

For that sort of money I’ll sculpt my own thanks! I will have to look very carefully at their superlative armour as its exactly what I was trying to do with my immortals.

I’ve made the pics a bit bigger. Looking at them close up, if you made that armour more evil looking, gave them cloaks and armoured beards, and took off anything like pouches etc they’d be perfect IMO.

That was one of my reasons for posting them… I think some of those on this site (especially you and ishkur, etc) could maybe use these as an idea for turning out some really cool looking immortals. I think these guys look decent (if a bit sci-fi), but the way their armor comes together is cool, and you could add in Hashut details and other stuff prettily easily.
So have a crack at em guys (and gals), just let me know by posting them. I have gotten so many ideas from the posts on this site, it is scary.
And I didn’t look at the price…but I’ll assume they are $$$$!

Remove the backpacks and gubbinz’, then replace the power hammer part with a more mundane or fantasy-esque weapon (curved blades/axes is best as it’s their description) and perhaps add a beard/beard-bib-armour and I might think of them as Immortals, but they still seem to say sci-fi a little too much for my liking… I prefer the look of the Ironbreakers to be honest. Just replace pauldrons with granite and their weapons, CDify their beards and a few repositions and they’d be perfect IMO.

I’m curious, what do people generally count Immortals as if they’re using the Ravening Hordes list? Warriors with great weapons? Or do most people here use a Dwarf list and count them as Iron Breakers?

Unless they are using home-made rules, I think most people use them as Warriors with Great Weapons.
