Stickers.With a little adaptation this one really could work! Pretty much every town has somewhere which prints stickers, so we get a common design posted on the interweb, ala the t-shirts. When one of us goes to a tournament, gamesday or the like we take a few sheets of stickers. We then ask people to put them on their carry cases and suddenly people are carrying CDO adverts to clubs and stores around the world on a regular basis! One sheet of 20 stickers gives us 20 walking publicists delivering themselves to groups of hobbyists!
No, Hear me out.......
In the past, when my unit has been on tour, we made a sheet of stickers that we distributed to all our guys. The mission was to stick them EVERYWHERE! Pub toilet doors, girls bedrooms, restaurants, macdonalds, shops, petrol stations, road signs, everything. It always made you smile when you saw one because you knew one of your boys had been there (unless it was the girls bedroom!!). Anyway, If people go into the toilet at an event, say-gamesday for instance, and there is an eyecatching and proffesional looking sticker on the wall saying something like CDO Member Was Here - www.chaos-dwarfs.com- it may help raise awareness, and if not, it will bring a smile to the face of any other CDO member at the event. Stick them in your GWs, Stick them in your local gaming club hall- anywhere. Now, Who will design the stickers {artisan contest anyone}

Lots of good ideas here. If we raise awareness too high though, people may very well start to suspect we're some kind of cult (as a previous poster suggested).
In a sense they may be right....

lol… I think the easiest way to promote CDO is get the ladies in the t-shirts. So guys, next anniversary/birthday/special occasion, give her a CDO tshirt.
Granted, you may have to subsidize the gift with shiny things or shoes, or just deal with cut eye and the cold shoulder for a couple weeks, but it’s for the greater good people!
But, the stickers are cool, you just don’t want them being seen as ‘vandalism’ so I think the asking people to stick them on their carry cases is a better alternative.
As for holding out on rum… blasphemy! I don’t like it at all!
