The Hero is great though. Hide him in a Warrior unit for cover and whip out to get war machines. This works well against Hellblasters and the like that must deploy fairly close to the enemy.

Really its a question of being in the “know”. As in if you know anything about CDs and you are facing them as an opponent you don’t worry as much about them asyou might otherwise do. In previous edition they rightly garnered undue attention from spells and artillery.

:hat Ok, BC are better than average on offence, BUT and that is a big but / question, they die to easily. For a rare slot and the cost, I would hope the BC would be more hardy… I’d like to know how to effectively use them with those weakness. Give us guidance Hashut:hashut!!!

Well, BC are only medium cav. They’re not really intended to perform the same battlefield role as Chaos Knights, Grail Knights or Inner Circle Empire Knights.
Personally, I think the best place for them is the flank, preferably with a lord on a Taurus as a force multiplier.

Flanks ideally combined with the wolfboyz fast flanking unit they are fragile so hiding them can be very necessary:hat

Flanking is the way forward. Ive never used them for a frontal charge. Another reason for taking them besides the fact that the models are awesome is the fact that taking 2 Earthshakers is simply not fair play.
