Almost 3 years ago I had a thread on this forum how I got around building this Chaos Dwarf army. I am currently working on another Chaos Dwarf army so its time to sell this one. And yes I am also planning on making a blog on this forum for that army as well :). So keep on the lookout for that next week or the week after.

Anyway to the business part. I am selling off this 2250 pt Chaos Dwarf army. All the Chaos Dwarfs are converted and the rest is partially converted. The army has matching movement trays as well.

I’ve never sold a complete army before. I’ve had one offer for 375 euro’s (quick estimate 450 dollars?). But I reckon I can receive more (maybe even through eBay). Not that the conversion or painting work is anything near excellent but about the shop retail value of this army is around this price. I am not certain of this so I would like you guys opinion on that. Of course you are free to make your own offer since this is still a sales ad.

The army consists of:
1 Chaos Dwarf Sorcerer Lord
2 Chaos Dwarf Sorcerers

Core units:
2x14 Chaos Dwarf Blunderbusses with standards
20 Chaos Dwarf warriors with full command
2x15 Hobgoblins (Gnoblars) with HW’s
10 Hobgoblins (Gnoblars) with HW’s
10 Hobgoblin Wolfriders (Gnoblars on wolves) with shields and full command

Special units:
4 Hobgoblin Boltthrowers (Gnoblar crew)
20 Black Orcs with full command
20 Orcs with additional choppa with full command

Rare:
5 Bullcentaurs with full command
1 Hellcannon (Earthshaker cannon)

I’d say thats definately above an average paint job there. Korne symbols need a slice taken out of then to be the Chaos Dwarf rune. I hope you get a good offer for it. And your right e-bay usally likes Chaos Dwarfs, but mostly the old fashioned kind sold piece by piece. Unit by unit also works if you want to get a good price for the lot. Selling whole armies tends to walk them out the door but not at the higest price you could get, but it’s nasty to think of a co-ordinating army out there existing in units all over the place. @Time of Madness: Maybe this or next week. I think I need to retake the pictures before I put them up.
I am already working on my new Chaos Dwarf army its a army in the same style as this one. Helms converted from normal Dwarfs. Since I did this army 2,5 years ago I think I can do a much better job now. I’ll keep you guys posted on that :slight_smile:

If you are basically redoing the army again why dont you just keep this army and just add to it? Or are you trying to sell this one to raise funds to buy the bits to convert a new army?

I’ve already bought all the models I need for my new army. Selling this army will cover a part of that. I don’t really play this army that often so it won’t be a real loss if I won’t be able to play it for a couple of months.
