beefcake:
If those are Kahns, you could also use the smaller goblin wolfrider wolves with maybe some orc heads with smaller horns as just regular count as hobgoblin wolfriders. Just an idea.

NoisyAssassin:
That’s a great idea, but I don’t think I plan on including any wolfrider units. Who knows, I may change my mind at some point, in which case I’ll probably use it.
Ghrask Dragh:
Very strange, very wierd… love it!
Just so i know I’m not going mad, is that a predator on a penny farthing holding a ballon? Please say yes
please say yes!!
NoisyAssassin:
Thanks Ghrask. And yes, it is indeed a predator on a penny farthing holding a ballon. I found the picture a long time ago, no idea where.
And now for more pictures!
I have now added a shield to my BSB. it will be painted in metallic tones, not as a giant skull.
And the first of my Bull Centaurs. Huzzah!

I had quite a bit of fun making this guy. I didn’t want him to just look like a weirdly proportioned Chaos Knight, so decided that they wouldn’t get helmets (plus a chance to actually use the awesome faces on the AoW dwarves). That didn’t quite make him look bullish enough though, hence the horns. I promise that not every model in the army will use Bloodletter horns! Just many of them. Very useful bits. I’m kinda worried about his hair though, as it is from the old Dark Eldar, and the only one I had. Not sure if I can find something similar for the rest of the unit, and would be really annoying to sculpt. Oh, and this is my first attempt at using plasticard for armor, so be gentle. He still needs some gap-filling and gs work on various places like behind his beard, but those are just details.
klavier:
That’s a great bull centaur ,he looks pretty “mean”:D,
awesome conversion.
Karring:
I like how you have use plasticard. Great work
NoisyAssassin:
I’ve been busy poking away at the army, and have made a wee bit of progress. Haven’t started any of my greenstuff work though. Anywho, pictures!
Made further on the Bull Centaur unit (including something crazy I’m trying out for the movement trays)

Sorcerer-Prophet

A random Deathshrieker crew

Unit champ for my HW&S Infernal Guard

And 5 Fireglaive Infernal Guard

Base for the fireglaive unit’s filler (will have 1-2 dwarves on it), and a single model filler for the HW&S unit

Finally, just waiting on an A-Rock base to arrive so I can start on my K’daii

Chico:
Looking good mate, building up quite quickly. What head is that on your Crewman?
Thorin:
Love your work mate. Great models and conversions!
klavier:
well done,
great conversions, they are full of character
Da Crusha:
some very nice conversions here. I cant wait to see some more.
NoisyAssassin:
Thanks guys!
@Chico: the head is from a pack of “sci-fi heads” that I got for participating in a tournament. The packaging says Battle Road Games on it, but it seems that they are a store and not actually a manufacturer, so no real idea. Will be using other heads from there for the rest of my crew though.
Sherlocko:
Looks good. They seem so evil and I can´t wait ´til you start giving them some paint.
Oh, btw, it seems that the FW Bull Centaurs will be on larger base than that. Don´t know if you care, but if you do it is probably easier to adjust it now than later.
NoisyAssassin:
Well the priming coat on the first two test models is drying now, so you should hopefully get to see some paint this week.
As for the BCs, I think the new base size is ridiculous, so I’m keeping them on 50x50s. If I run into anyone that objects too hard, the movement tray is 25mm wide (almost exactly) so I can measure to the tray front and back, making them 75mm long. Should work out.
And updates!
Got a test model for the HW&S IG all put together. I can’t decide if the beards are fun or annoying to sculpt. Little of both?

And the Fireglaive unit is all assembled. All but one of them still need greenstuff, and some still need random bits in their beards, but mostly done.

Dramatic angle!

Finally the base for my first Deathshrieker (still waiting on some bits to arrive), as well as its crew

At this point especially looking for feedback on the beard and the bases/trays. Is the sculpting good enough or should I try to overhaul my process a bit? They are a little more Grecian than normal for CD… And I like the basing, but whenever I do something really out there I like to double-check that I’m not just being crazy.
Cheers!
Karring:
Cool, really cool. But I want paintings!!!:cheers
fairoaks024:
really nice work, thoroughly impressed by it all, but in particular i like the work you’ve done on your bull centaurs.
regards
jim
Sherlocko:
Love the war machine crew. The helmets are so fitting!
NoisyAssassin:
Thanks guys!
@fairoaks: Yeah, I really like them too. Can’t wait to get that unit finished up!
@ Karring:

Thorin:
Want to see them painted now, common…
CopperPot:
Some really cool conversions mate just out of interest what material are you using for your movement trays is that bark or cork.
