Sources over at Bugman’s Brewery have said that:

Warhammer Online just announced that playable Slayer characters will be introduced to the MMORPG in February.

Slayers will increase rage and become more powerful as they fight but have a tendency to become exhausted and helpless unless you take your time making attacks.

And if you do not believe I would start checking the WAR site, atlhough remember, I got this infrom from BB’s. If slayers do come out I will start playing again. :cheers

That would be very cool. I might make a slayer my main for the good server I’m on then.

I was 500% excited when I saw the slayer in the original WAR trailer.

I was then -1000% excited when I saw that they weren’t playable.

That alone pretty much almost stopped me from playing WAR…

They will be, the info is accurate. They'll be part of the live expansion (an expansion that doesn't require buying a new box or paying anything) that will begin as an in game event, much like how the Black Guard and Knight of the Blazing Sun were brought in in the Heavy Metal event not too long ago.

They'll also be bringing in the Choppa class for Orcs.

dedwrekka is correct: slayers will be included in a limited time free download expansion, I think it references some other lands (may have been Lustria, but I could be going crazy here). It’s tempting me to renew my subscription to try them out.
