Probably not in its exact form, no. But I would imagine some kind of comparable Daemon-engines that work along the same principles.

Chaos Dwarfs will probably get something more reliable than the hellcannon. Or a more reliable version of the hellcannon if they get it at all. Maybe GW will still give chaos dwarfs the hellcannon but with slightly different rules to make it a bit weaker but less likely to eat its own army.

The Hellcannon doesn’t eat friendly units anymore (except its crew - but all war machines present a risk to the crew).

They are still doing “sharing”, the Manticore is an obvious example of one being in two new books. They are just doing complete books, so you don’t have to buy two books to get all the Chaos rules.

I would have thought you would still get it. As mentioned there are many units that do cross over into many different armies, especially when it comes to warmachines. Perhaps the rules might be tweak slightly.
One thing I would have thought, is that they give CD something similar to runes. After all I can’t imagine them loosing that knowledge.

There tends to be some sharing with minor stuff like mounts (lots of armies get horses…) and in certain special cases like Chaos monsters. As I said though, I wouldn’t imagine the Hellcannon appearing verbatim in a hypothetical Chaos Dwarf book, as it’s likely to be part of a wider trend of Daemonic engines instead of being a bizarre special case.

I would have to agree with Thommy, it may appear as a stand in model (until one is done in plastic a loooong way down the line), but it would not be the same rules wise imo.
I.e. Rare Slot: Daemonic Siege Cannon. GW don’t release any model for this with a new army, nor do FW. They do however remind people that they can use the Hellcannon model as a counts as siege cannon until they get round to doing it.
At the very least if they are to copy it over they better sort out the rules properly so we don’t need pages of eratta and FaQ.
Black Orcs, Goblins and Orcs I think will all be taken out.

It's not clear if they'd use it themselves but then, in the WoC book, it isn't even mentioned that Chaos Dwarfs have their own armies.

After all I can't imagine them loosing that knowledge.I feel on the same way,, a race so prought of them selves as Dwarfs, must devolep an own way to make rune once they become to chaos,, and that is the way the suppose to made chaos runneshield or armour... a new background could be that new chaos runnes develop in a different and porwerfull way, that now just a few know them and can handle them, and are just written on some of the powerfull equipment... or something like this,, and this will justify all runic items
