Recently, ive decided that im going to get back into FS. I now have two full 40k army’s, but i figured that FS would be great with the new rules.
So, now im deciding on what army to be…
Im either going with:
-High Elves
-Wood Elves
-Ogre Kingdoms
Ogre kingdoms is at the top of my list, but I’m still not sure.
What do you all think? What army above is the easiest for me to start out as?

Well, the High Elves come in the Starter Box, the Wood Elves’ shooting gets a major boost in shooting, the Ogre Kingdoms seem to have become incredibly strong contenders.
So, personally, I would say drop the WEs and choose either HEs for the starter box (although it might not save loads of money necessarily) or the OKs for the new strength of the army.

I’d avoid WE like the plague. From what I’ve been reading they are at the bottom of the list now, partly due to requiring more specific tactics/combos to win than any other army. They are also likely to be the last of the old armies to be redone.
HE would be good, characterful and with a whole wave of new units coming out in december I think (phoenix guard, white lions and something else).
Ogres are also good imo, really boosted by the rulebook and likely to be redone in the near future as well (before this time next year I believe).

IBH, if Ogres are at the top of your list, go with them.
They’re one of the cheapest armies to collect (unless you go for a Gnobblar-heavy force), have lots of advantages with the new rules (Monstrous support from a Horde of Ogre Bulls!) making them a very competitive army.

Well, at the moment, im trying to dig up my old Ogre army book, but i did find a gorger, who i quickly painted.
