Hi All,

Easy question, I was playing a competitive game against another Chaos Dwarf player.

After my Iron Daemon put a few wounds on the K’Daai I decided it was time for my Sorcerer Prophet on Bale to charge in.

All good until we came to the flaming attacks, I thought under the rules all models base contact expect if mounted on a Bale suffer S4 flaming attacks. However, my opponent thought different, he understood this for the Bale only.

So the question is:

If mounted on a Bale do you suffer flaming attacks from Taurus and K’Daai’s when in base contact.

By the way we rolled it off and he splipped a wound through which made him win combat.

You were robbed. The FAQ clears up any confusion on this:

"Any model (friend or foe) in base contact with one or more Bale Taurus or
K�?Tdaai, except a Chaos Dwarf using it as a mount or another K�?Tdaai, takes an
automatic Strength 4 hit at the start of the Close Combat phase. This is a
Flaming attack.
Additionally, any non-Magical attacks must re-roll successful To Wound rolls."
